Precast concrete has long been a design specialty of our firm. Our staff possesses decades of combined experience in the design and detailing of all types of precast concrete for projects throughout the United States.  Engineering Solutions, LLC has been recognized as the engineer of record for award winning projects such as the Hopi Health Care Facility.  Our firm has also worked directly for several precast contractors and suppliers to both design and detail  individual concrete components. This experience makes Engineering Solutions uniquely qualified to take on any type of precast project.

 Schools

At Engineering Solutions we have always taken pride in our role in the construction of literally hundreds of school projects.  Whether the project is the construction of the  new 28 million dollar Douglas High School in Oklahoma City (aerial view pictured left) or a two hundred thousand dollar expansion of the existing school facilities in Sasakwa every school job is critically important to the students and citizens of the local community.

Recently, emphasis has been placed on the construction of storm shelters within school buildings.  To achieve this goal, the walls and ceilings of certain classroom or corridors are “hardened’ with either concrete or filled masonry walls. Ceilings consisting of 6 inches of reinforced concrete are also designed.  Our office has designed dozens of these structures and understands potential coordination problems associated with their construction.

Engineering Solutions has been blessed to have the opportunity to work with dozens of religious communities throughout Oklahoma. The design of these structures often includes a number of style elements which can represent structural engineering challenges.  Whether the sanctuary consist of simple metal building framing or utilizes dramatic cantilevers at a choir loft, Engineering Solutions processes the experience and ability to complete any church project in an efficient and timely manner.

Project Experience: Projects include new churches such as the First Christian Church in Midwest City and the Crossing Community Church in Oklahoma City. Also included are a number of additions to existing churches in Oklahoma City including additions at Southwest Baptist Church, at Mayflower Church, and at the Church of the Savior. Also included in Oklahoma City is Our Lady’s Cathedral for which Engineering Solutions designed the foundation and framing for a baptistery addition to the Cathedral, a new parish hall, a new gymnasium and a addition to the existing grade school.

Additional Church projects which are currently under construction include the ACTS 2 United Methodist Church in Edmond, Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Marietta and the New Trinity Fellowship Church in Sayre.
